Vincenzo Sospiri’s career is a testament to a life dedicated to winning. He began in karting, securing multiple world championships, before moving to open-wheel racing. In 1995, he won the prestigious International Formula 3000 Championship, famously outpacing future F1 stars.
After a brilliant career that also included an F1 test driver role and a World Sportscar Championship title in 1998, Sospiri founded Vincenzo Sospiri Racing (VSR). This team was built on the same principles of passion and professionalism that guided his own success.
Under his leadership, VSR has become a dominant force in GT racing, securing numerous championships. As both a driver and a team principal, Vincenzo Sospiri continues to build a legacy defined by victory and an uncompromising will to win.
Today, VSR not only fields the Squadra Corse factory cars but is also recognized for its skill in developing drivers, actively serving as the junior driver development team for them.
